Rocking Chair

Flea market find turned Christmas rocker. Combo of paint, paper, mod podge, fabric and trim.

I got this for a steal, can you tell why? This baby was in bad shape. Needed refinishing, loose joints, rusted handles etc.

Before/After Candlestick and Pumpkin

My friend gave me two of these candlesticks, but I didn't like the fact that it was a taper candlestick nor the color of it. So I painted one white and glazed over it a little. Then I got a styrofoam pumpkin and painted it blue with metallic stripes (haven't you seen one of those before!? :)) Since it was styrofoam I just pressed it into the candlestick and it was a perfect fit. Wrapped a brown boa around it and all done.
